Stockholm’s street art hotspot

Stockholm, Snösätra, Street Art, Graffiti, Expedition Stockholm, Stockholms Street Art Hotspot

Stockholm’s street art hotspot is called Snösätra. Surprisingly, Snösätra is located not, as you might expect, in an urban environment but on the outskirts of the city in the middle of a forest. In the midst of trees, meadows and garden plots appears a former industrial area where various artists have been adding their work to the walls since 2014.

The artworks are always changing and sometimes you can even see the artists at work.

Snösätra’s future is uncertain, so don’t wait too long to visit. One section has already been demolished and will be integrated into the surrounding nature reserve. The remaining part is to be preserved and developed as a cultural site.
