Kanelbullar (cinnamon buns) are a very popular pastry treat in Sweden and many tourists wish to try it at least once during their visit. As a city guide, I’m often asked where the best Kanelbullar in Stockholm can be found.
My answer: As a rule of thumb, you can find good Kanelbullar in any bakery. And so far it’s always worked out for me!
If you want to keep it true to tradition, you can’t go wrong with a Kanelbulle at Sundbergs Konditori which has been at the same address ever since 1793:
